Feature requests for the Sentinel-1 toolbox?

Dear All, Sentinel-1a will be launched in October this year if all goes according to plans. What requirements or wishes does the NEST-community have for the Sentinel-1 toolbox? What new functionality should be developed? Do you foresee that the S-1 imaging modes and mission scenario will change your processing and if yes, how could the S-1 toolbox support your operations? Any other wishes/comments?

The slides also contain links to download the original ERS data and the full processing project.

The presentation also reviews and demonstrates the use of some other functions of NEST for (InSAR) processing - eg. masking of the sea, visualization, bands math etc..

Beta testing of NEST 4B is currently underway. The new release should be available in late February.

New features and improvements will include:

Full InSAR processing chain, except of unwrapping and stack processing
- Removal of DEM
- Filtering of spectras in range and azimuth
- Phase filtering
- InSAR Geocoding
Command line interface improvments
Easier Coregistration from the command line
$Band0, $Band1 variables for batch processing of BandMaths
ReprojectionUI for graph processing

NEST Training in Toronto on Oct 4-6

There will be a special training week held at Array in Toronto on Oct 4-6
the week after the Radarsat-2 workshop.

Oct 4 - NEST Intermediate Course
Oct 5 - SAR Theory Course
Oct 6 - NEST Developer Course

The courses will be $1490 per person for each course.
Discounted prices are available for attending 2 or all 3 of the courses as well as for groups representing 5 or more persons.

An individual course will only be held if a minimum of 5 attendees sign up. Seating may be limited for the Intermediate course so sign up right away.
